Belgrade Wine Tour
Maybe you are not familiar with the fact that wine making in this area is almost 2000 years old, and Serbia has a viticulture tradition since medieval times. Whether you’re seeking to learn more about wine making history or to have extraordinary experience of wine tasting, you are in the right place.
You will have an unusual wine tasting ten meters underground, where the narrow candlelit corridors will lead you to the tasting room. These mystical underground corridors are part of a big network of underground tunnels underneath Belgrade built by the Romans in the 2nd century AD. Following every glass of wine, the guide takes you on a journey through history and wine culture in Serbia, from ancient times up until today. The tour does not concentrate only on the history of wine making. With the tasting of premium wines, your host will show you how to pair food and wine properly and give you some helpful tips.
Unique experience guaranteed!
Word of advice: Paths inside winery cellar might be slippery, so make sure you wear appropriate shoes as well as clothes, as the temperature is always 12°C. We recommend not to wear strong perfume or cologne as it can interfere with the tasting.
